AT A GLANCE

Strong, positive, respectful, and loving relationships support happiness, vitality, personal performance, and longevity. Fortunately, there are principles that all relationships are built upon, that we can learn, practice, and put to work building better, stronger relationships with others- who are open to doing so.

This Lab has been developed to deepen your understanding and support your consistent application of these principles and practices in building all types of relationships. Know that many of the skills we guide you on in this Lab will be new to you. Don’t let their simplicity dissuade you from exploring them and putting them into practice. They are true game changers. As you explore and practice the skills we encourage, you will find that you experience benefits across all types of relationships. Including your romantic partners, friends, coworkers, boss, barista, and even the next stranger you choose to strike up a conversation with.
HEALTH SCENE INVESTIGATION
  • How actively do you work on your relationship skills, and what specific skills do you work on?
  • How effectively do you seek to understand others—their values, interests, priorities, and personal boundaries?
  • Are you clear on the “music” you want to play, your intent in relationships, and your desired outcomes?
