AT A GLANCE
Time and our perceptions around it, are human constructs. Our construct of time is clearly useful in describing, and projecting, the duration and sequence, or order of events. Yet our perceptions around time and its significance are the foundation of considerable distress for many.
We do not have, possess, or control time. What we do have is attention and energy and the opportunity to take action that is meaningful and contributes to the experiences and end products we wish to co-create. We can never be anywhere but where we are in our present moments. We can only be aware of what we pay attention to and detect through our senses. We pay attention to, detect and perceive in accord with our conditioning. It’s our focus and personal perceptions that determine what we experience and how we respond. This is what creates our reality. To shift our reality and produce better outcomes we are best to focus on re-conditioning ourselves in accord with our values, intentions, and the outcomes we desire. This starts with re-directing our habitual focus and investing our attention and energy in what matters most to us. When we do so, our issues with “time” fade away.
We believe that the truest, most finite, and precious currencies in life are attention, intention, and energy. They determine our focus, perceptions and real-world actions. As such, fine tuning our understanding of the relationship between our time, attention, intention and action, removes false limitations and opens us to new, better experiences.
